rev. Student Ministries exists to help youths (grades 7th-12th) discover what it truly means to love God and others. We plan all our events, games, activities, camps, and services around these pillars: 1) Jesus Centered; 2) Relationally Committed; 3) Kingdom Minded; and 4) Generous Hearted. Our Wednesday service has pre-service hangout, games, worship, small and large group discussion, and messages that are all tailored to help apply these values to the rev. community.

Helping teens on their journey to adulthood

We believe the mission of youth ministry should include two things:

First, to encourage and help students to navigate the ever-changing world of middle and high school life in a way that glorifies God.

Second, to teach them what it means to be a healthy, mature, Christian adult. The practical side of our ministry involves a lot of ongoing interaction with adult leaders, who we believe to be exemplary Christians; student-led and student-run ministry opportunities; and applicable modeling and training in spiritual disciplines like bible reading and prayer. Each of these elements is incorporated into our weekly youth services.

In addition to our weekly services, we are offering small groups called rev.789 and rev.X.XI.XII.

rev.789 meets on the FIRST Sunday of every month during the morning service (930am). This is an event for our younger rev. students to assimilate in to rev. Student Ministries. It includes teaching, activities, and small group discussion honed for grades 7, 8, and 9.

Youth in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades, join with Pastor Aaron and Angelica after the morning service (12-3pm) at the Killian’s house on the first Sunday of every month, for a time of teaching, games, and small group discussion.

“REV. is a youth group where you are surrounded by people who all have the same goal of constantly growing and bettering their relationship with God. The leadership gives me guidance in how to handle everyday situations and helps me know the way God would want me to handle situations in my life. REV. has given me some of the best friends I’ve ever had!”

Our support of the Speed the Light Ministry

Speed the Light (STL) is the student-initiated, volunteer, charitable program that provides much-needed equipment to missionaries across the nation and in over 180 countries around the world.

The concept is simple: we provide financial support so others can ‘speed the light’ of the gospel to a world in darkness. This is accomplished by providing the “essential transportation and creative communication” equipment for missionary evangelism.

Aaron & Angelica Gansler

The Student Ministries Pastors at Brighton AG

They have two sons (Aiden and Alijah) and two cats (Miles and Pickle). They love taking their boys on long adventures and they absolutely LOVE Star Wars or anything Marvel.

Aaron has his undergraduate degree in Christian Ministries and graduate degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Valley Forge. Angelica has her undergraduate degree in Non-profit Social Entrepreneurship from Rochester University.

The Ganslers have a desire to see the next generation thrive as they learn what it means to follow Jesus. Matthew 28:19-20 states that Christians are to go into the world to make disciples by teaching others the things that God has taught them.
